Well, there is a well-established spot on the North side of Burlington/Hamilton lifting bridge after the channel. There are some additional amenities (change room, shower) on Burlington side, which is nice, because the area is notorious for the water pollution with industrial waste. One advice I was given one day, and wich I would like to pass, - "Don't drink the water!!!". I would also add, - "Take a shower afterwards!!!"
